Town Fiesta: August 10 of every year, in honor of Señora Nuestra del Pilar and Filomena.
August 10 is fast approaching, we are inviting everyone to come and celebrate with us. Witness the “BONGA” festival which will be held this coming August 9,2009 at Sibonga quadrangle. Experience how the Sibonganhon entertain you local and foreign tourist.

Sabang- the barangay before reaching the center poblacion of Sibonga.
Located, south of cebu and about 48 kms. away from the city.
The sabanganhon rejoice after the announcement made by Gwen Garcia the City of Cebu Governor, the winner for the EGWEN project held in CICC. The event attended by some of the top provincial officials. With our Brgy, Captain Mr. Ray Apuda, proudly received the 150,000 cash and make use the amount for “palikuran para sa mga nanginahanglan”. Bringing the title as the winner, all barangay sabanganhon officials who initiated the cleanliness drive and the organization of our barangay, from the paint in the side walk/ highway, the big trash can project in cooperation with sk officials and barangay officials which was distributed right along the highway made it a highlight, the street light with around 48 post standing and are fully functioning, the plants along the highway made with the purok officials and members, the barangay library and the waiting kiosk or purok made us the sabanganhon to the top.
Right now, the barangay bought a brand new lawn mower for easy highway clean up. Fellow Sabanghon are working hand in hand to hopefully take home again the prize for another category which I can’t announce it for now, but surely it will give the barangay a great pride. Where not talking here thousands but where talking here half or million. If the sabanganhon win this prize surely it help a lot in our place.
